How do I know if The KPS Group is right for my business?

We're a great fit if you're tired of manual busywork, struggling with messy financials, missing internal tools that match how you work, or needing a clearer story for sales. We work best with teams of 2–50 people in service-based businesses (contractors, consultants, agencies).

Do you work with startups or only established businesses?

Both. If you're just starting, we focus on lightweight systems that scale. If you're established, we clean up legacy messes and rebuild for growth.

Pricing & Engagement

How much do your services cost?

It depends on scope. Hourly work runs $150–$200/hour. Projects (cleanup, build, implementation) range from $5K–$50K. Monthly retainers for ongoing guidance start at $3K/month. We'll quote you after discovery.

Do you require a long-term contract?

No. Hourly work has no commitment. Projects are fixed-scope with clear outcomes. Retainers require 3–6 months minimum for continuity.

What payment terms do you offer?

Hourly: Net 15. Projects: 50% deposit, 25% mid-project, 25% at delivery. Retainers: Monthly invoicing, Net 15.

What if I'm not happy with the work?

We include 30 days of post-launch support to refine and adjust. If something's off, we'll make it right—or refund your deposit if we can't solve it.

Process & Timeline

How long does a typical project take?

Most projects run 6–12 weeks from kickoff to handoff. QuickBooks cleanups can be as fast as 2 weeks. Full automation buildouts may take 3+ months.

Will this disrupt our day-to-day operations?

Minimal disruption. We work async when possible, schedule calls around your availability, and stage rollouts to avoid downtime.

Do we need to provide access to our tools and accounts?

Yes—we'll need read/write access to QuickBooks, project management tools, CRMs, and any systems we're integrating. We sign NDAs and follow strict security protocols.

What happens after the project is done?

You get full documentation, training videos, and 30 days of included support. After that, you can continue on a retainer for health checks, backlog planning, and tweaks—or pay-as-you-go for maintenance.

Services & Scope

Can you help with [specific tool or integration]?

Probably. We're fluent in QuickBooks, Zapier, Make, Slack, HubSpot, Airtable, Monday, ClickUp, and dozens more. If we haven't used it, we'll learn it—or recommend an alternative.

Do you build custom software?

Yes, but only when no-code or low-code tools won't work. We prefer Airtable, Softr, Webflow, or Bubble over custom dev to keep costs low and handoff simple.

Can you take over an existing messy system?

Absolutely. Half our clients come to us with Frankenstein setups they inherited or outgrew. We audit, document, and either fix or rebuild.

What if my team learns your systems then leaves?

Your documentation and training stay with you forever. That's the whole point—we set you up to be self-sufficient.
